Meet the Spanns
We are Lyle and Abbey Spann, founders and owners of Sparrow REI. Burkley Marie and Bella Michele are our beautiful little girls. We are based in Middle Tennessee, but are involved in real estate all over the state and surrounding areas. In addition to real estate investing, we are passionate about our faith, family, relationships and enjoying life to its fullest! We believe in treating others the way we would like to be treated and making every interaction one with intentionality. Lyle Spann
Founder & CEO
Lyle has been a full time real estate investor for more than 4 years, has flipped over 50 properties, and has also acquired several investment properties; to include short term rentals, long term rentals and commercial space. He is people-focused, believes in relationships, stewardship, winning together and putting our creator at the forefront of everything we do. He loves many things, but some of his favorites are being a Believer, Hubby to Abbey and Daddy to Burkley and Bella, playing golf, pickleball and telling dad jokes!
Abbey Spann
Co-Founder &
Transaction Coordinator
Abbey is the co-founder of Sparrow REI and has been pivotal in designing the majority of our renovations, as well as handling transaction coordination responsibilities. She was born and raised in Franklin, TN, and later attended MTSU in Murfreesboro where she met the love of her life, Lyle. She’s Mommy to two beautiful daughters (Burkley and Bella), is known for her kind spirit, love for people and her passion to serve our Savior. She, too, loves playing pickleball and is an avid lover of coffee.
Billy Haley
Director of Marketing
Billy Haley is the Marketing Director at Sparrow Real Estate Investing, where he uses creativity and strategy to share Sparrow’s mission of transforming properties and lives.
Billy is married to his beautiful wife, Lauren, and they have three energetic kids: Grayson, Novie, and Isaac. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing pickleball.
Samuel Haslett
Leads & Operations Manager
Samuel has worked in management for four years and has worked in real estate for almost two. He became a licensed Realtor®️ in the summer of 2022 in the great state of Tennessee.
Samuel has a heart for people and enjoys creating win-win situations. He is also very passionate about photography, traveling and basketball.
